Alberta Alpaca Red-Brown Yarn

This fantastic yarn is mill-spun Alpaca fibre from a farm here in Alberta. Each skein is approx. 7 ounces or 200+ grams.  There are about 675 yards or 617 meters in each skein.    Figure on 18 wpi.  This is a two-ply yarn.  There is a penny in the photo to indicate the size of the yarn.

The color of this yarn is natural brownish-red, the natural color of the fleece.  It is a beautiful, rich color.  Out of a possible 6 grades for alpaca, this is great quality between a 1 and 2.  It is an excellent quality yarn that we are privileged to offer to you.
