Burlap -- Open-Weave

Open-Weave Burlap is the backing fabric used by many rug hookers for primitive-style, or wide-cut hooking. It has a more open gauge to hold the wider strips. This fabric has a regular weave that makes hooking easier. It is perfect for the 6,7, 8 or larger cuts. That would be 6/16, 7/16, or 8/16 of an inch. 

The width of the fabric is a big 75 inches. This is 6.25 feet! The piece would be 36" x 75". More of this fabric is available and may be cut as successive yardage.
