Cocobolo Short Hook - Hourglass Shape

This neat little hook has a fine hook, but a wide shaft. The width opens up the foundation fabric. Because the shaft is tapered, you control how much it opens. The hook has a point at the top to enter the backing easily.

The handle has been hand-turned from Cocobolo wood. The hour glass shape allows a "push-pull" movement as you hook. The hook itself is made of hand-turned brass.

The handle measures 7 cm (about 2 3/4 inches), and the hook is 4 cm (about 1 1/2 inches) in length.

This Canadian-made hook is from British Columbia.
