Hand spun yarn using Alberta mohair. We get the mohair from a local farm.  We wash it several times, and hand-dye it.  This yarn was spun on my spinning wheel using a cotton and rayon thread.  There is a subtle amount of copper-colored Angelina sprinkled in occassionally to add sparkle.  It's a pretty, one-of-a-kind yarn. 

The skeins in the photo are all from the same batch of mohair.  I love spinning mohair.  I think it's my favorite yarn.  I enjoy the creativity of spinning it and the little curls in it.
