FAQ

  • What wool would I use for felting?

If you're needle felting, many people would use Corriedale Wool. If wet felting, Merino is usually the first choice. Polworth wet-felts well, as does Blue-Faced Leicester. You can wet felt with Corriedale too, it just takes a little longer.

  • Why are the photos so small on the website?

Just click on the small photo and it will take you to a page with a larger photo and a description of the product.

  • Do you wholesale?

We have a few products on which we can offer quantity pricing, but we are not a wholesaler.  Shown on the website is quantity pricing for Legacy Studio hooks, backing, and wool meterage for instance.

  • How do you figure shipping?

Canada Post is tied into our website, so we get their rates.  It's actually very accurate, but sometimes we can pack an order more compactly and save a bit.  That savings is returned to you.  We don't charge a handling fee, we use the Canada Post rate, and you can choose if you need it delivered more quickly by Xpresspost. We also offer the option of using FedEx for delivery.
