This is a good quality Monk's Cloth with the squares on it in a grid pattern. Squares are two inches wide. This is especially useful if you are drawing your own rug hooking patterns, because you can make sure everything is square. You have the markings woven into the fabric to line up your design. You may also use the squares themselves as a pattern. Use up some of your odd bits of wool.

This is cotton fabric with a two-over, two-under weave that is characteristic of Monk's cloth. The fabric is 60 inches wide. There are 13 holes per inch. Monk's Cloth is sold by the yard, (36 inches x 60 inches).
