Natural linen fabric of excellent quality.  It has a very regular weave.  Sturdy and durable, yet easy to work with. Linen is very popular with rug hookers. Linen is the best backing you can get.  

This linen is 13 by 13 threads per inch and is 162.56 centimeters or 64 inches wide.   It is the unbleached, natural color.  Imported from Europe.

It is sold by the meter (not yard) and is available as continuous meterage.  The photo shows a quarter with the fabric to indicate the scale.  A meter is 10% larger than a yard.
