Prairie Merino Batt - Natural White

This is Merino wool formed into a batt.  A batt will unroll to make a large rectangle of carded wool.  It's a handy form if you are felting -- pillow top, purse, slippers, background for a wall hanging etc.    

It is local Merino, processed at the local mill.  It has some bits of grass in it, but it is Merino and wet-felts well.  The price is good, so you could use it for fill inside of a needle-felted form and save the colored wool for the outside.  It may be hand-spun also.

This wool is $15. per pound, but the batts come in various weights.  Sizes in stock are listed below.
