September 17 to 22 - Prairie Harvest Rug Hooking School
WHO?  Anyone interested in the craft and art of rug hooking is welcome to join the Prairie Harvest Rug Hooking School Association, and attend our school. Most of our members live in the Western provinces of Canada, including the Yukon.
WHAT?  Prairie Harvest is a school promoting rug hooking in Western Canada. It has been held annually in Saskatchewan since 2001.

WHERE? Prairie Harvest Rug Hooking School will be held at Providence Renewal Centre, Edmonton, Alberta. This is our second year in this location.

WHEN?  Sunday September 17 (supper) to Friday September 22 (lunch) 2017.

June 16 - 22 - Fibre Week
WHO? Anyone interested in fibre art - knitting, weaving, spinning, felting, quilting etc.
WHAT? Classes in fibre art, events and vendors from Western Canada
WHERE? Olds Agricultural College, Olds, Alberta 4500 - 50th Street, T4H 1R6
WHEN? June 16 -22, 2017.  Merchant Mall: noon to 6pm on Friday, June 16.  From 10am to 6pm each day, Saturday 17th through Monday 19th. Open to the public.
