Black and tan wool fabric in a 58.5 inch width. Approximately 13 oz. per linear yard, from Woolrich. 100% wool. Felts well. May easily be over-dyed. Good weight for a braided rug or hooking. Best for wide-cut strips. The photo has a quarter in it to show the size of the squares. “Buffalo plaid” is another name for this fabric.
Available as a felted, ready-to-use fat quarter, or meterage cut from the bolt ( which is not felted).
One meter equals 39.37 inches, or about 10% greater than one yard.
