Cocoons are produced by Bombyx silk worms. These cocoons are empty. A hole has been cut to release contents, so they are oval and hollow silken cases. Silk dyes beautifully. These have been commercially dyed in different colors. Dyed cocoons may be used for felting, jewelry, and paper-making.

10 cocoons in a package. Let me know if you need a certain color and I’ll try to accommodate you. We have blue, turquoise. green, red, yellow, purple, fuchsia, gray, white and orange.
These cocoons are taller than 2cm, so they must go as a “package” with Canada Post rather than an Over-Size Letter.
