GreenSpace Batts

These textural batts are made from a blend of Merino and Bamboo. The white bamboo adds a lovely shine to the Merino. Merino will wet-felt very well as the bamboo is “captured”. These batts also make an interesting “tweedy” hand-spun yarn. (See the photo). The batt is Black, Brown and Green Merino Wool with the silky white of Bamboo.

Batts are intertwined fibres processed using a drum carder making a light and fluffy rectangle of fibre of various weights. Pull it into strips to spin or use sections of the batt for felting.
