The Locker Hook has a hook on one end and a large eye on the other. It is used with latch hook backing to produce rugs, mats, purses, book covers, hot pads etc. Length is 6 1/2 inches. Made of steel for durability.
A series of loops are made in the backing then a cord or yarn is pulled through securing the stitches. Wool or cotton fabric may be used for the loops. Wool roving may be used for the loops. Saddle pads may be made using this technique.
