Silk gauze is very popular for nuno felting. It is light-weight and airy with an open-weave so the wool permeates the fabric easily. This is 3.5 momme silk which is a good weight for felting. This silk is extremely sheer and fine. Dyes and paints easily with acid dyes. Good for light scarves, veils, shawls and layered clothing. Try nuno felting!
