Waxed Linen Cord is difficult to find. I’ve had it manufactured for the studio.
Each spool is 8 ounces or 226.8 grams. This cord has about 1,000 yards per pound, or 457.2 meters in a spool. It’s just right for stitching the rounds of your braided rug together. It’s a very strong 3-ply cord the color of linen: a naturally-colored medium gray/brown. We’ve tried different weights of this cord, and this is the size most preferred by braiders. ON ORDER
