Prairie Wool Felting Batt color #5 – Dark Gray/Brown (darkest natural color)
This is Merino/Rambouillet wool formed into a batt. A batt will unroll into a large rectangle of wool. It’s a handy form for felting — pillow top, purse, wall hanging, slippers etc.
It is local wool, processed at the Alberta mill. It has some bits of grass in it, but it wet-felts well. The price is good, so you could use it for fill inside of a needle-felted form, and save the colored wool for the outside. It may be hand-spun also.
The wool is $32.95 per pound which is 454 grams. These batts are one pound or more.
