Gunmetal Merino wool is a very dark charcoal gray with a bit of lighter gray fibre that creates a beautiful texture. It is a fine fibre– 22 micron Merino Wool. You can ply it with other colors and other fibres. It would blend with many colors. It is quite soft and nice to spin, or the perfect thing for felting, either wet or needle-felting. Not SuperWash, so no problem felting. “Top” means the fibre has been combed so that the short bits are removed, leaving the longer, nicer fibres.
Gunmetal is packaged in 100 gram portions. (100 grams = 3.52 oz.)
Gunmetal Merino is darker gray than Dapple.
