Merino/Tencel White

50% Merino and 50% Tencel blend.  The Merino is 21.5 micron.  Tencel is super-shiny and very fine and soft.  Tencel is often made from Eucalyptus trees.  This Merino/Tencel blend is popular dyed as well.  It is beautiful when hand-painted.  The Merino will wet-felt and bring the Tencel along with it.  The Tencel makes a shiny squiggle in your wet-felted piece.

You can blend it with other colors and other fibres.  Merino-Tencel is quite soft and lovely to spin, or the perfect thing for felting, either wet or needle felting.  “Top” means it has been combed so that the short bits are removed, leaving the nicer, longer fibres. 

Merino/Tencel Top is packaged in 100g portions.  (100g = 3.53 oz.)
