Silk Lap is like a blanket of silk fibres. It is composed entirely of Mulberry silk and has the sheen you know of silk.
This fibre can be separated into thin layers and stretched out to a web, then layered with wool and wet-felted. It may also be spun or carded with other fibres, and dyes wonderfully.
This white silk is an A Grade lap. We sell it in portions by various weights as listed below. Choose the amount you need for your project. (50 grams = 1.76 ounces).
