Viscose Top – White & Colors

Viscose is an ecologically green, cellulose fibre that is bio-degradable. Viscose Rayon is a fiber of regenerated cellulose; it is structurally similar to cotton, but may be produced from a variety of plants such as soy, bamboo, and sugar cane. It is non-static and breathable like cotton.   Viscose’s high moisture absorbency (13%, as opposed to 8% for cotton) and shade depth allow it to be dyed with deep and brilliant colors using plant dyes.  You’ll find it to be soft, silky, shiny and very fine.  One of Viscose strengths is its versatility and ability to blend easily with other fibres.  Reduces the cost of blends and imparts luster, softness and absorbency– thus comfort.  

Spin a shiny yarn.  Card into your batts.  Viscose will felt with your wool when wet-felting for a wonderful effect.  Use it to make paper and cut out shapes for wet-felting.
