Irish Hook – Ball Handle

These are beautiful ball-handle rug hooks hand-turned with precision in Ireland.  The handles are of Yew wood and the hooks are brass.  The wood is beautifully smooth and feels good in the hand.  The varied woodgrain means no two handles are alike.  

Choose Ball Handle, Pencil Handle or Ergo Handle.  A special feature of these hooks is the tapered shaft.  As you hook, the taper opens up the backing fabric making it easier to pull the strip through.  

This is the Ball-handled hook.  Choose what suits you.  People have different-sized hands and preferences. The sizes shown are measurements of the hook in millimeters.  The second number in the sizing is the width of the shaft.
